The local community of Evanton has played an important role in the consultation process feeding comments directly into the design proposals.

Two public meetings were held during July and November 2006 in the run up to submitting the application. At these meetings, held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall in Evanton, local residents were invited to hear a presentation on the scheme and were given the opportunity to ask questions and make comments.

Whenever possible, these suggestions and comments have been incorporated into the final proposals.
