    Hameldon Hill Wind Farm
npower renewables Hameldon Hill Wind Farm was commissioned in February 2007 and is located to the south of the M65 motorway, to the south west of the town of Burnley, Lancashire. It is a 4.5 megawatt (MW) wind farm and its three turbines generate enough clean electricity to meet the average annual needs of around 2,400 homes.

Planning permission for the wind farm at Hameldon Hill was granted in March 2004. Construction work commenced in early 2006 and was completed within a year.
