npower renewables is keen to ensure that local people are both informed about the proposal, and are given the opportunity to have their questions answered.

As part of the consultation process, public exhibitions were held in September and October 2007 at the following venues:

Glen Hall, Neilston
Monday 3rd September 2007

Fairweather Hall, Newton Mearns
Wednesday 5th September 2007 and also
Wednesday 3rd October 2007

The free events provided information about the proposal and outlined the environmental effects associated with it.

Information stands were also placed in local libraries on the following dates:

Mearns Library, 18th-30th August 2007
Neilston Library, 5th-16th October 2007
