Rhyl Flats will comprise:
- 25 wind turbines, each with an installed capacity of 3.6MW. The hub height will be 80 metres (m) and the maximum height to the tip of an upright blade will be 134m (both above mean sea level).
- There is an existing 74m high meteorological mast at the site which has been in place since 2002 collecting wind data, and this will remain in position during the operation of the wind farm.
