As part of npower renewables' licence obligations we are collecting data on the species of birds and marine wildlife that inhabit the area. Of particular interest are over-wintering sea birds- Common Scoter and Red Throated Diver. The monitoring which is currently ongoing at the site will establish current populations, and will continue during construction and operation of the wind farm, thus allowing us to gather valuable data on the effects of offshore wind farms on marine species.
